KENYA LODGE AND CAMPING SAFARIS


3 DAYS AMBOSELI

Day 1: Nairobi/Amboseli
9:30hrs: Leave Nairobi and drive South through Maasai country via Namanga on the Kenya – Tanzania border and on to Amboseli. (Picnic lunch served en-route). On arrival, settle in the camp/lodge and if time permits, proceed for a short game drive where you have a chance to see Rhino, Lion, Giraffe, Elephant and many other animals. Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak provides a beautiful backdrop. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp/lodge.

Day 2: Amboseli
6:30hrs: Enjoy an early morning breakfast. Return for breakfast at Lodge/Camp. After breakfast, proceed for a further game drive or go to the camp/lodge for a swimor a shower. Lunch served at the camp/lodge.
15:30hrs: Proceed for a late afternoon game drive returning to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Amboseli/Nairobi
After breakfast leave camp/lodge for the last game drive, and then depart Amboseli National Park for Nairobi. Lunch is served en-route. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon.

4 DAYS MAASAI MARA/ NAKURU

Day 1: Nairobi/Masai Mara
9:30hrs: Drive through rich farmland to the edge of the Rift Valley. Descend the escarpment and drive via Narok to Masai Mara Game Reserve. Lunch is served en-route. The Masai Mara adjoins Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. Masai Mara is famous for its black manned lion and annual migrations of Wildebeest and Zebra. Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino, Gazelle, Leopard, and Giraffe are also found here. Game viewing is done en-route to the campsite/lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp/lodge.

Day 2: Masai Mara
The whole day will be spent viewing and exploring this spectacular game reserve. All the big Five can be seen here. Masai Mara is also famous for its bird life. Meals and overnight stay at camp/lodge.

Day 3: Masai Mara/Nakuru
After breakfast, leave the camp/lodge and proceed to Nakuru. Picnic lunch is served en-route. Stop over at Lake Nakuru to view flamingoes. Lake Nakuru is famous for its pink flamingoes and many other types of birds. There are also a number of animals in this park. Dinner and overnight at the budget hotel/lodge.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru/Nairobi
After breakfast spend the morning watching and photographing birds and wild animals in Lake Nakuru National Parkpark. Depart Nakuru after lunch and leave for Nairobi for panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley en-route. Arrive at Nairobi in the afternoon.

3 DAYS MAASAI MARA

Day 1: Nairobi/Masai Mara
9:30 hrs: Leave Nairobi for a journey South along the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Have lunch at Narok and then climb the western wall of the Great Rift entering Hemmingways Country otherwise known as ‘Serengeti Plains’,. Arrive late afternoon to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya’s most famous reserve.. Check in at the camp/lodge. Early evening game drive returning to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Masai Mara
A full day will be spent viewing game across the rich, tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herd of plains game, black manned lion, leopard and cheetah. It also has numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. All meals and overnight stay will be at the campsite/lodge.

Day 3 Masai Mara/Nairobi
After breakfast, proceed for a game drive then depart for Nairobi with lunch en-route, arriving late in the afternoon.
