LTT 5 - 6 Days Samburu/Sweetwaters/Treetops
Day 1: Arrival Nairobi
On arrival at Nairobi’s JKIA airport, you will be met by our meet and assist team and taken through a short introduction. There after transfer to a City Hotel for meals and overnight
Day 2: Nairobi – Samburu
07:30hrs: Depart Nairobi for Samburu Game Reserve via Nanyuki town where you will stop for lunch. The trip takes you through very pleasant country-side with coffee and tea plantations with good view of the peaks of Mt. Kenya in clear weather. Arrive in Samburu late in the afternoon and proceed for a game drive en-route to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/camp.
Day 3: Samburu
After breakfast, take a full day game viewing in search for the Oryx, Gerenuk, Grevy’s Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, crocodile and Hippos along the Ewaso Nyiro river. Meals and overnight at the lodge/camp.
Day 4: Samburu – Sweetwaters
After breakfast depart for Sweetwaters with a game drive en-route. Arrive in Sweetwaters in time for lunch. Proceed for a game drive in the afternoon with a visit to Chimpanzee sanctuary. This reserve has abundance of wildlife and tropical vegetation and host all the “Big 5”- Lion, Leopard. Rhino, Elephant and Buffalo. Guests can enjoy game walks, night game drives, horseback game rides and bush meals. Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp.
Day 5: Sweetwaters – Treetops
After breakfast depart Sweetwaters for the Outspan hotel for the transfer to the Treetops lodge. After lunch you leave Outspan for a ten-miles drive to the Treetops which is the most famous game viewing lodge in the world overlooking the water hole salt lick high in the Abardare National Park. Dinner and overnight at the Treetops Lodge.
Day 6: Treetops – Nairobi
Depart for Outspan hotel for breakfast and thereafter transfer to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon at own leisure (resting) or will be taken for shopping at the City market or other curio shops. Overnight at a city hotel with optional dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant.
